ASG Eye Hospital was established in 2005 by Dr. Arun Singhvi (Co-founder, promotor, chairman, and managing director) and Dr. Shilpi Gang (Co-founder, promotor, and CEO) both of them are alumni of the prestigious All India Institute of Medical Science, New Delhi. The first hospital was established in Jodhpur city in Dec 2005. and has grown into one of the best eye care centers in India over the years.

Dr. Gitumoni Sharma is a vitreoretinal and cataract surgeon with an experience of 18 years as an ophthalmologist having
worked internationally and nationally over several states. She is the first lady practicing vitreoretinal surgery in northeastern
India. She is a medical graduate of Assam Medical college, Dibrugarh. Had completed post-graduation in ophthalmology
from Sri Sankaradeva Nethralaya, Guwahati from where she had also completed 2 years of residency and thereafter
fellowship in general ophthalmology and cataract. Thereafter, she completed a fellowship in clinical research (Apollo
hospitals) and in surgical vitreoretinal from Retina Institute of Karnataka under Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences
Bangalore. She has expertise in diagnosing and treating all eye conditions.
Have independently performed over more than 5000+ successful Vitreoretinal procedures working with reputed eye groups
like Dr. Agarwal’s Eye Hospitals ltd. Chennai and MGMEI, Raipur. She is also a MBA in hospital and healthcare management
and was the quality chairman during NABH certification at MGMEI. She has many publications to her name. She had many
awards for scientific presentations to her name to mention are Global Icon Award21 and India Excellence Award21 recently
